UMC Street View: Redlands FUMC hosts photography exhibit

We found this story on the “Redlands Daily Facts” website:

Redlands Camera Club members are exhibiting photographs in an exhibit in the gathering area gallery of Redlands First United Methodist church through Oct. 28.

There will be a reception open to the public 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1 E. Olive Ave., Redlands, at the northeast corner of Olive Avenue and Cajon Street. The photographers will be at the reception to discuss their work.

Also on display are historically interesting cameras from members’ collections, ranging in size from a subminiature “spy camera” to a pair of studio cameras using 4-by-5-inch film, and including the rare “Texas Leica” or Combat Graphic 70mm camera.

The United Methodist Reporter wants to encourage lively conversation about The United Methodist Church and our articles in the belief that Christian conversation (what Wesley would call conferencing) is a means of grace. While we support passionate debate, we cannot allow language that demeans or demonizes others, and we reserve the right to delete any comment we believe to be harmful or inappropriate. We encourage all to remember that we are all broken and in need of Christ's grace, and that we all see through the glass darkly until that time we when reach full perfection in love. May your speech here be tempered with love, and reflection of the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. After all, "There is no law against things like this." (Galatians 5:22-23)
