UMC Street View: FUMC of Hartford, AL offers community tutoring

Hartford First United Methodist is moving a tutoring program from its campus into the community hoping to make it more accessible beyond its own membership.

Brady said tutoring will start next month at the Transformation Center. She said it will be offered to students in kindergarten to fifth grade on Monday to Thursday afternoons. She also said participation in the tutoring program is based on recommendation from teachers at local schools.

A completely gutted former store front just off the square in downtown became the new Transformation Center.
