Local news is covering a 3-alarm fire at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, in Reidsville North Carolina. The church is asking for prayers at this time for EMS workers trying to control the fire & their congregation.

Reidsville, NC — A fire has engulfed a church building in Reidsville and fire crews are working to get it under control.

According to EMS, the call came in around 10:40 Friday morning and has been categorized as a 3-alarm fire.

As of 11:28 a.m., firefighters were still trying to get a handle on the flames.

There have been no reports of injuries.
